THURSDAY GROUP

Thursday Group was started about 50 years ago by a group of young mothers as a way of socialising in the evening.
We meet in members’ homes with speakers (on various topics), a quiz or games evening, film nights and at Christmas or New Year a shared meal. In the summer we have a BBQ. We also share ideas and creative skills.
We organise outings, visits to local businesses, for example, Jordan’s Mill or the Lavender Farm at Ickleford.
